JMI Hub Privacy
Last updated: October 9, 2026 (Studio metrics and minimal data disclosure added; Jeremiah Defense score notice added October 8, 2026; other sections were last reviewed May 13, 2026.)
This is a simple alpha privacy notice. JMI Hub is still being built, so the safest rule is: do not post private information, private photos, school details, addresses, phone numbers, or anything you would not want public.
Information We Use
- Account basics like username, character name, password hash, optional email, and age range.
- Game progress like credits, inventory, level, stats, rewards, build pieces, and saved settings.
- Community content like public posts, chat messages, feedback, optional image URLs, profile picture URL, cover URL, and bio.
- Technical information needed to run the site, protect accounts, debug errors, and prevent abuse.
How It Is Used
- To let players log in, play, save progress, post on the game timeline, and use profile/community features.
- To moderate safety, prevent cheating, investigate bugs, and keep the game running.
- To improve the game and understand what is broken or fun during alpha testing.
Children And Photos
JMI Hub is family-friendly, but children should use it with a parent or guardian. Do not post photos, voice, video, school details, contact details, or private information about children. Parent/guardian review may be needed before stronger public profile or image features are enabled for younger players.
Public Content
Timeline posts, image URLs, chat, profile pictures, cover pictures, and display names may be visible to other visitors. Do not post anything private or unsafe.
Jeremiah Defense Public High Scores
You can play Jeremiah Defense and view its public high-score board as a guest. Guest runs are not saved to the board. If you are signed in, the server can save one best completed run for your account in durable game storage. That record contains your account reference (used internally), your member username, your best score, your wave, and the time the record was last updated. A better run replaces your existing row; a lower score does not.
The public board shows only your username, score, and wave (plus a public rank). It does not show your email or internal account ID. Your best is intended to remain while your account exists, unless you replace it with a better run or request removal. Use Remove my saved score on the board to request immediate removal of your row; sign-in and durable database availability are required.
This service does not currently provide an account-deletion route, and the score record is not yet connected to an account-deletion cleanup flow. If a deletion flow is added, it must remove the score row too. For account or safety requests, contact [email protected].
Studio Metrics And Minimal Data
To keep games stable, fun, and understand retention without compromising child privacy, JMI Hub computes aggregate studio metrics (such as daily/weekly return rates and overall store summaries). These summaries are calculated entirely on the server from existing account timestamps (such as registration date, last login, and approved purchases). We do not use third-party analytics trackers, tracking pixels, behavioral cookies, or device fingerprinting, and we never sell, profile, or target behavioral advertisements to children.
Account And Removal Requests
To ask about account access, safety concerns, or removing content, email [email protected].
